We curate groups of 8-15 people and try to curate the groups so there is great synergy and connection amongst the participants and so no one feels like there isn't anyone in the group in a similar situation in life.

Scholars is led by Kristen Heaney, the founder and lead coach of In 3 Generations.

The self-directed learning portion of the course on the Tamarind Learning site will take approximately 3-5 hours per month. The Scholars program runs two semesters starting in September. Peer group calls are 2x/month for one hour and focused on discussing and applying the course content.

Because of the nature of our work, confidentiality is at the foundation of everything. All participants sign a confidentiality contract and we reinforce the importance again during our first session. There's no mandate for sharing anything you aren't ready to share and we've even had participants in the past who have chosen to share only their first name on our online platform. Because of the experience we all share in common, people really respect one another's privacy.

This peer group is a supplement to the Accredited Beneficiary Stewardship Program offered by our partner Tamarind Learning. This online self-directed learning program covers the essential knowledge an inheritor or leading generation family member needs to know to be prepared for roles in overseeing family wealth such as:

• Estate Plannning
• Tax
• Investing
• Personal Finance
• Working with Advisors
• Trusts, Trustees, and Beneficiaries

There is so much great content in this self-directed learning program, but Scholars brings the accountability of a learning plan to stay on track (deadlines are helpful!) as well as the peer group conversation so learners can hear from others about how they are applying the content to their own circumstances.

IMPORTANT: In 3 Generations has a partnership with Tamarind Learning -  access to their platform is included in the cost of Scholars and will be granted automatically upon purchase of the Scholars program.

The group calls are held 2x/month typically on Tuesday evenings.

Exact times and dates for the next group launch are released during the summer prior to group launch.
